Sea Mangrove Kayaking, Langkawi

This off-the-beaten-path tour led by our friend and naturalist, Juergen, will bring you or rather, have you paddle into small and narrow mangrove forest canals, leading to secret caves. Some of which can be traversed with the kayaks, while others require some jungle trekking in order to be reached. Join this amazing scenic 'low impact on nature' adventure! It's not a very well known tour so you can enjoy this rare adventure since you stumbled on to this!

Itinerary
8.30-9am Pickup from hotel. Kayaks are towed out to sea where we first visit a Hong – a lagoon only accessible through a sea cave. Guide will share knowledge on caves, ecology, conservation and Langkawi tales.
We paddle/drift up the Kilim river, passing the ‘Hole in The Wall’, following the Kilim river right up to the end, passing/visiting Bat Cave and Gua Buaya(Crocodile Cave) and drifting back to fish farm for lunch.
An afternoon session can be arranged but dependent on tidewaters.

Langkawi is easily accessible by a one hour flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Malaysia Airlines (
www.mas.com.my) and AirAsia (
www.airasia.com) have daily flights to Langkawi. Langkawi can be visited all year round. The peak season is from November to February.
We can organise pick up from your accommodation in Langkawi. There may be additional transport fee, depending on where you stay.
