If you’re looking for the best Sonic LEGO set of all time, then you have to get the Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge set. It’s easy to build, doesn’t require you to be a LEGO master, and has the best classic Sonic feels out of all the sets.
Plus, you get some serious value for money too with 9 characters to play with and 802 pieces to put together.
This is the biggest Sonic LEGO set out of all the new kits and recreates that classic Green Hill Zone loop.
Add in Eggman in his fighting machine, Amy on a jet-ski, and Sonic in his sphere shield, and you’ve got a serious party on your hands.
With characters like a Newtron, the classic Badniks, and Eggman himself to take down, along with lots of features from the other sets in the series, you could say that this is the quintessential Sonic set that you need in your life!
In at a close second in our best Sonic LEGO sets is the Sonic vs Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot set!
Sonic vs Eggman is one of the most iconic battles of all time. These two will forever be at each others throats, and the Death Egg Robot is an absolute joy to build.
At 615 pieces, it provides fans with a nice little project to work on. Get a massive sense of achievement and an epic figurine to play with once finished!
Plus, when you smash Sonic right into the chest of Eggman’s robot, it released trapped animals back into the wild once more!
Head to the research station and use your imagination to create epic scenarios, and charge through items using the speed sphere launcher!
Amy is taking care of all of the freed animals that you rescue from Eggman’s Death Egg Robot over on Amy’s Animal Rescue Island!
Well, she’s trying her best, but Crabmeat is doing its best to cause havoc for her.
Along with her trademark hammer and Tails to swoop in when she needs a helping hand, she must protect the younglings and stop this pesky Badnik in its tracks.
The set only has 388 pieces, so it’s realistically not going to take too long to build. The little rings are a nice touch too, and while it would be better if the Tornado was also here, you could always add it in from the 5th set in this article.
I mean, it would be rude not to!
Sonic’s Speed Sphere Challenge takes the 4th spot in this list of the best Sonic LEGO sets, bringing the sphere launcher from the first set and some baddies to beat.
This set would have scored a little higher had it had more going on. It’s the cheapest of the 5 sonic LEGO sets which could be a plus point if you’re buying on a budget, but other than chilling out in the beach chair that comes with it, Sonic doesn’t actually do much.
In conclus, you can bash a Moto Bug Badnik on the head and recreate some Sonic-esque high jumps before you do kick-back with a bright-blue drink and listen to some tunes on the massive speakers!
Last, but not least, we have the Tails’ Workshop and Tornado Plane set. Finally, we can see Tails in his natural environment tinkering around with his plane and inventions.
I don’t know why Sonic is hanging around on the wings… does he not have enough thrills from going super fast all the time?
This set is only 376 pieces, so you’ll build it in no time, leaving you to concentrate on all of Tails gadgets and sorting out that pesky Buzz Bomber who wants to get his hands on Tails’ tech!
