The jump was one of the best things I have done in my life! (yet!). I am one of those few people whom have always wanted to skydive since young and when I finally passed my age limit and garnered enough money, I wanted to do it right away. I was researching about skydiving activities in the South-East Asia region and I stumble upon Whoa! Adventures Sdn. Bhd. At first I was definitely impressed by the myriad of activities that they offered from scuba diving to jungle trekking and to what I have been longing for, skydiving. I had also inquired about the company from a tourism board and found out that the company is well reputable with their activities and services. So I then email and inquired regarding the skydiving activity that they offered. I was surprised that they replied to me promptly as compared to other companies that I had inquired. And that was the point I met Josen. He answered all my questions and uncertainties to the best of his ability. If not, he'll find other means of getting the information required. He gave me the best advice and also help me out in the problems I had faced such as the bank transfer and also getting affordable lodging at the activity site. He also frequently updated me regarding the activity and its availability. I was deeply impressed that he was committed in giving my friend and I the best service that he could offered. Honestly speaking, I was actually reluctant to transfer the cash amount to the given overseas bank account. But he gave us his fullest assurance and made the experience more comforting. He gave me frequent updates of the cash transfer and once the cash had been successfully transferred, he sent me a receipt of the payment to my email immediately.
My friend and I met him a day before the activity day and we found out that he was much friendlier in person. Not only is he knowledgeable in the activities that he offered he also gave recommendations on the various places to go if we were keen in doing certain activities such as rock climbing and caving. On the activity day itself, he was ever-so-helpful to my friend and I from giving advices and tips, to clearing our doubts and questions with the jumpmaster. The co-ordination of the activity went smoothly without any problems and made that eventful day a memory my friend and I will forever cherish. The service that he offered was beyond any I've seen or received from any other adventure companies I had engaged in the past. For that, I would like to sincerely thank Josen Lim and Whoa! Adventures Sdn. Bhd. in helping my accomplish one of my many goals in life. I give Josen Lim and Whoa! Adventures Sdn. Bhd. my fullest support in their future endeavors and activities. "WHOA! That Adventure Rocked!"
Adventure: Mulu, Headhunters Trail, Pinnacles & Limbang (Sarawak)
Julie Hale and myself recently booked a tour with your company from April 29th-May 3rd. I am writing to tell you that it exceeded all expectations I had for the trip! It was absolutely perfect and I can't thank/praise you enough. I'm not sure exactly what your role is in all of this, but I really wanted to thank someone.
All of the tour guides we had were fantastic. Richard was passionate about the environment, caring and encouraging to all the hiking ability levels, and accomodating to food preferences (an excellent chef, too!). Eugene was strong, kind, and energetic. Larry was kind, conversational, and always followed up on his plans for travel and accomodation for us. John was informative, patient, and kind.
I didn't know much about the caves, but was really impressed to see them - especially the phenomenon of all the bats flying out at night together for hours. Crazy. It was also a nice treat to be able to take a short dip in the little river by Clearwater cave.
All of the hiking we did was as advertised and exactly what Julie and I were looking for. We wanted a challenge in a beautiful natural environment, and we got it! The accomodation was PERFECT from the elegant stay the first night in Mulu Headquarters to the two nights at camp 5 (no mosquitoes, perfect temperature, alongside a swimable river, lots of tables, good facilities), to the longhouse.
I was also very happy with the longhouse experience, which I expected to be a typical tourist looking from the outside in and feeling like an intruder, experience. It felt very genuine and the people and children were SO kind and generous to us. Of course, the food was great as well.
Overall, I give the trip in it's entirity a 9 out of 10 (could do without the uber touristy caves, but does provide a nice easy way to see caves before hiking a bit in the evening). It was perfect and well worth the money spent (which was quite a bit for my little teacher's pocketbook!)

Adventure: Sipadan Kapalai Island Dive Resort and Danum Valley
We had an excellent time at resort based on the recommendation from Josen whom we met while in Bali a year back. Stayed 4 days at the comfortable chalets on stilts - marvelous architecture. The dive trips were fantastic and sipadan waters certainly lived up to its reputation as one of the best dive sites in the world!  Upon returning to land we headed into the lush green world of Danum, staying at Borneo Rainforest Lodge. We went on hikes in the jungle, even caught a glimpse of an orangutan with her child! that was a great experience. Thanks for helping us arrange the vacation! Might take up that suggestion for wildlife cruise in Sukau next year.

Adventure: Motorised Paragliding, whitewater rafting,  ATV rides, Street food tour
It was one of the most unforgettable trips that we ever did. Where we saw the other side of Malaysia, away from the busy streets and the shopping malls of KL, to take part in events which we will never forget that were filled with excitement and was thrilling.
Paramotor, white water rafting and the quad bike ride are some of the few events that we did enjoy the most.

a.  Mark has been very accommodating with our requests with the gift packs (especially the tissues - this was remarked by Ngan who needed the tissues badly when the weather turned cold/magnetic board - a sure saviour when the children were restless)/tour and extra thanks should be accorded to him when he put in extra time on Thursday to drive us around and tried to help us solve a last minute arrangement."
